Giovanni’s Room presents an installation of Homocommunist curated by founder and writer Alexander Schneider. The presentation deploys ephemera, objects, books, and printed materials as part of a broader collaborative project to construct a history and aesthetic of homocommunism, investigating connections between queer politics, sexual dissident histories, leftist struggles, and the cultural products of former (and potential future) socialist states.
